[ARCHIVED] Volunteers needed for Evergreen Cemetery clean-up


The Friends of Evergreen, Dismass Charities, Coastal Transition Center and the Men of Liberty City have organized a cleanup at Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Residents are encouraged to join in the effort as volunteers.

“We are making a call for community support”, said Reverend Augustus Johnson. “If you have a love one at the cemetery come out, we have military buried here whose graves need tending”. Family and Friends of Evergreen Cemetery come out.
