[ARCHIVED] Earth Day Festival scheduled for April 18

For Immediate Release
Date: March 18, 2015

On Saturday, April 18 the 2015 Savannah Earth Day Festival will offer exhibitors, workshops, kids activities, food and music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Forsyth Park next to the Forsyth Farmers Market. RecycleRama will not be held during the Earth Day Festival this year, but will be held at a later date in the fall.

The Earth Day Festival is transitioning out of the Water Resources Department and into the City’s new Sustainability Department. With that move there will be a larger participation from the community and this year the community partner is WellFED. WellFED is coordinating much of the Festival including exhibitor registration. There are no fees associated with being an exhibitor at this event. Each exhibitor will also be provided with a 10x10 tent, up to 2 tables and 2 chairs. Additional materials may be available upon request and depending on availability. To apply to be an exhibitor, go to www.earthdaysavannah.org/exhibitor-registration.html.
