[ARCHIVED] City now accepting electronic submittals for site permits

For Immediate Release
Date: October 1, 2014

Beginning today, the City of Savannah is accepting electronic submittals for site development permits. The new process is more efficient and environmentally friendly with a focus on providing better customer service. Information about the new process can be accessed at www.savannahga.gov/sitepermits.

With the new system, staff expects to see shorter review times due to instant access to submitted plans, as well as allowing for clearer and more concise plan review comments input directly on the plans submitted. An electronic record of submissions will allow users and staff to better track plan status. The system also has a positive impact on the environment, by significantly reducing the amount of paper required during the review period.

For more information, contact Cristy Lawrence, Development Services Liaison, at (912) 644-7784 or clawrence@savannahga.gov.
