FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: March 27, 2014
The City of Savannah invites residents and business owners to attend a public meeting to discuss the use of motorized carts and low speed vehicles on Savannah streets. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at the Southwest Chatham County Library located at 14097 Abercorn Street.
Public meetings are one aspect of a larger process City staff began last year, including thorough research into the impact of motorized carts on public streets and engaging key stakeholders in our neighborhoods and business community. This comprehensive process will result in a recommendation to City officials on the use of these types of vehicles on Savannah’s public streets.
