The City of Savannah received 42 submissions in the High School Art Contest for original student artwork depicting the beauty of Savannah’s historic squares and parks. Submissions were received from students of The Habersham School, New Hampstead High School, Saint Andrews School, Saint Vincent's Academy, Savannah Arts Academy, Savannah Christian Prep School, Veritas Academy, and Windsor Forest High School. Members of the public can now cast an online vote to help select the best pieces to feature in an upcoming special exhibit highlighting our beautiful City landscapes. The gallery of submissions is available at www.savannahga.gov/ArtContest. To cast your vote for your favorite submission, simply view the piece and click the “thumbs up” icon in the upper right corner. Voting will be open to the public through Friday, March 7.
