[ARCHIVED] City to Host Ribbon Cutting for New Hampstead West Modular Public Safety Facility

SAVANNAH – The City of Savannah is inviting media to celebrate the grand opening of the New Hampstead West Modular Public Safety Facility.

This new facility, covered with public funds including SPLOST VI, will provide both fire protection services and police operations in the New Hampstead area. Mayor Van R. Johnson II, 5th District Alderwoman Dr. Estella Shabazz and other representatives from Savannah Fire and Savannah Police are expected to speak at the event. A short tour will also be given of the modular buildings after the ceremony.
