City to unveil sign for Ridgewood Park tomorrow
SAVANNAH (Feb. 8) – The City of Savannah will host a ceremony to unveil the sign officially designating Ridgewood Park tomorrow, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. The newly named park is located at Atlantic Avenue and East 66th Street.
The previously unnamed park, in the Ridgewood Extension subdivision, has existed since the late 1940s but no record of a naming action was identified in the City’s official record. The park was officially named Ridgewood Park by the Savannah City Council at their Oct. 14, 2021 meeting.
