Community cleanup scheduled for Dec. 4

SAVANNAH (Dec. 3) – Alderwoman Kesha Gibson-Carter joins efforts with Commissioner Tanya Milton for fire service outreach and community cleanup on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. in the Poplar Place neighborhood. Volunteers will meet at Alpine Drive Park. 

Savannah Firefighters will walk door-to-door to check smoke alarms while cleanup volunteers collect litter in the area.

Volunteers are welcome, and doughnuts and coffee will be provided. No pre-registration is required, and the City of Savannah Sanitation Department will provide all litter collection materials.
