First student chapter of 2 Legit 2 Lit campaign to host community cleanup

SAVANNAH (Nov. 12) – Alderwoman Kesha Gibson-Carter is teaming up with Jenkins High School to start the first student chapter of her 2 Legit 2 Lit anti-litter and cleanup campaign. 

The first Jenkins Chapter cleanup will be Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers will meet at the Jenkins High School bus ramp at 1800 E. Derenne Ave. The Jenkins Chapter hopes to schedule cleanups on two Saturdays each month moving forward. To get your school involved, call 912-346-423.

The City of Savannah Sanitation Department will provide all litter collection materials.
