City Council to resume in-person meetings
SAVANNAH (Nov. 8) – The Savannah City Council will transition to in-person meetings beginning with their Nov. 9 meeting. The meeting and work session will take place in Council Chambers at Savannah City Hall, 2 E. Bay St.
Members of the public will be able to view the meetings from alternate locations in City Hall for social distancing purposes, however anyone wishing to make a public comment on a specific item will be able to do so from within Council Chambers when that item is up for consideration.
Individuals who prefer to watch the meetings remotely can still do so via the City’s website, Facebook and YouTube.
Media representatives will be allotted space within Council Chambers to cover the meeting and work session. Only one crew per outlet will be permitted.
All individuals entering City Hall must wear a mask for the duration of their visit.
City Council had met virtually since the spring of 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
