Holly Heights Park ribbon cutting

SAVANNAH (Aug. 6) – The City of Savannah will hold a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the completion of Holly Heights Park.

The more than $362,000 project added a full-sized basketball court, playground, ADA parking, landscaping and upgraded stormwater infrastructure at the District 3 park. The city council broke ground on the project, located on East 56th Street at the corner of Honduras Street, in 2019. The majority of the project was funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax or SPLOST VI.
