City of Savannah to donate canned food to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia

SAVANNAH (Dec. 18) – The City of Savannah will donate canned food collected by staff to America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia on Monday, Dec. 21. 


Mayor Van Johnson and Mary Jane Crouch, executive director of Second Harvest, will hold a news conference at 2:30 p.m. at Savannah High School, 400 Pennsylvania Ave., where city vehicles will be staged before dropping off the donations at the food bank.


Media are asked to send one crew per outlet to maintain social distancing, and masks are required.
