City Launches Innovative Engagement Platform

SAVANNAH, GA (May 29, 2019) — The City of Savannah has launched an innovative engagement platform geared toward having conversations with residents on major projects undertaken by their local government. Speak Up, Savannah! which can be easily accessed at SpeakUpSavannah.com has already engaged and informed hundreds of residents following a soft-launch over the weekend.

The new platform underscores the City’s commitment to involving residents in decisions that will shape the future of our community. Not only can residents voice their support or their concerns, they can also have meaningful conversations with project managers on specific topics.

“The relationships and information sharing that Speak Up, Savannah! encourages will help us to continue moving our community forward,” said Nick Zoller, the City’s communications director. “Digital engagement platforms like this one truly provide a direct link between the City and those who we serve.”

Speak Up, Savannah! will feature new topics often as the platform continues growing, with residents even able to weigh in on the types of topics they are most interested in learning and engaging more on.
