City Council Sets Town Hall Meetings for NewZO

SAVANNAH, GA (October 25, 2018) — City Council is scheduling Town Hall meetings for their districts to discuss NewZO and other district related issues.

NewZO, which stands for “new zoning”, is an update to the City’s zoning ordinance that manages urban growth and champions the comprehensive development plan.


District 1 Alderman Van Johnson Town Hall Meeting 


When: Monday, November 26 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Where: Savannah Civic Center Ballroom, 301 W Oglethorpe Ave


District 2 Alderman Bill Durrence Town Hall Meeting 


When: Wednesday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Where: Savannah Civic Center Ballroom, 301 W Oglethorpe Ave


District 3 Alderman John Hall Town Hall Meeting 


When: Monday, October 29 at 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.


Where: Johnson High School Auditorium, 3012 Sunset Blvd


District 4 Alderman Julian Miller Town Hall Meeting 


When: Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Where: Marsh Auditorium at Candler General Hospital, 5353 Reynolds Street

 

District 5 Alderwoman Estella Shabazz Town Hall Meeting 


When: Monday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Where: Tatemville Community Center, 333 Coleman St


District 6 Alderman Tony Thomas Town Hall Meeting 


When: Thursday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.


Where: Windsor Hall, 302 Briarcliff Circle
