When: Wednesday, April 11, 9 a.m.

The Savannah Shines initiative grew out of the City Council’s interest to focus public and private resources to make noticeable improvement in a neighborhood over an 18 to 24 month period.
The Edgemere-Sackville was selected as Savannah Shines first pilot neighborhood in August 2017. Since then, the Savannah Shines Initiative has coordinated the partnership of City departments and private resources to improve housing and property conditions, eliminate blight and enhance public spaces in the Edgemere-Sackville neighborhood.
Neighborhood Revitalization is one of the five priorities City Council established in the Savannah Forward Strategic Plan.
