City Span can be seen on Comcast Channel 8 (in Savannah) weekdays on the 3’s, 7’s and 11’s (3 a.m. and 3 p.m., 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.) City Span can also be seen anytime on the City’s 24-hour streaming YouTube channel at http://savannahga.gov/sgtv

This month, Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach highlights the success of SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) in our neighborhoods on an all-new City Span. We’ll take a look at a major project in Windsor Forest plus recap the overall success in our State of the City feature. We’ll also highlight the highly successful Mayor’s Job Fair, where more than 1,500 citizens showed up to meet with nearly 100 employers.

Another story in this month’s City Span features the Savannah Police Department’s first badge pinning since the demerger in February. See Chief Revenew’s remarks and insights to the new officers only on City Span.

Also covered in this month’s City Span is what the new Local Preference Ordinance means to YOU.

City Span also provides the best of Geekend 2018. See all the highlights on city-span and watch SGTV for full, in-depth lectures.

Other stories within the all-new City Span include: the Summer 500 Kickoff Event, Georgia Day Parade entertainment and Joe Shearouse Playground named in Hull Park.
