[ARCHIVED] Magnolia Park Drainage Improvements Open House to be held June 6

The Chatham County Department of Engineering, in conjunction with the City of Savannah, will hold an Open House concerning the Magnolia Park Drainage Improvements on June 6, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church Social Hall located at 4700 Skidaway Road, Savannah, Georgia, 31404. The public is invited to drop-in anytime during the Open House. There will be no formal presentation.

This project proposes to construct a dry detention facility at the end of Whitney Road to improve the storm water conveyance and capacity in the Magnolia Park Neighborhood. The plans propose installation of new trees and landscaping, as well as relocation of approximately 23 existing trees within the proposed construction limits to a new location within the drainage basin.

The purpose of this Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view the proposed project, ask questions and comment on the proposal.
