[ARCHIVED] Small Business Saturday coming up Nov. 26

Small Business Saturday

The Small Business Chamber of Savannah and Buy Local Savannah are joining together for the first time to partner with American Express for Small Business Saturday on November 26. We have been designated as a Small Business Saturday Neighborhood Champion and will be spearheading a marketing and shopping campaign for our community. We are reaching out to all small and local businesses in order to help us spread the word and maximize community involvement. Our mission is to engage as many local businesses and shoppers as possible to promote buying small and local during this holiday season.

There will be several be several welcome centers throughout the city.  For downtown Savannah, we have arranged a scavenger hunt for shoppers, sponsored by Trek Savannah, that will begin at our designated welcome center, Blends Coffee Boutique on Broughton. Shoppers will receive a power breakfast, reusable shopping bag and instructions to download the free Shop Small Saturday scavenger hunt application that will guide them by GPS map on a unique shopping experience through all of the participating shops and promotions in the area.

Shoppers will end their #ShopSmallSAV experience at several designated, "Shop 'Til You Drop locations," where they may present their receipt for a minimum $20 purchase to receive a special treat or discount.
