March 5, 2015 thru June 30, 2016, residents and community volunteers will clean and beautify their community during the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest, annual community improvement campaign.
This year, we are encouraging residents and community groups throughout Savannah to support the City of Savannah and Keep Savannah Beautiful “Great American Cleanup in Savannah” by asking them to do spring cleaning, neighborhood clean-ups, conduct graffiti removal projects, beautifying parks, streets and highways.
“Providing our community with the best possible quality of life requires a variety of strategies”. Board President Betty Jones said “This spring means increase recycling efforts rolling up our sleeves and working hard to clean and beautify Savannah so that it is an even better place to live and work. We know that with community support we can make a huge difference in a short time”.
