August 17, 2016 Update

Posted on August 17, 2016 at 4:11 PM by Saja Aures

Water utility lines along the new General McIntosh Blvd are nearing completion. Crews are excavating a pit at the intersection of President Street and the new General McIntosh Blvd intersection in preparation to bore a water main under President Street. This method of installation will allow traffic to remain open on all four lanes without interruption.

On the south side of President Street, crews continue to work on water and sanitary sewer force mains.  Once this work is complete, the stormwater utility lines will get installed in preparation for the next phase that will include a traffic lane shift on President Street.
