FOG Permit & Manifest Portals

Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Permitting

The City of Savannah is pleased to announce a new online permitting system to support our Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) program via ClearForms. The system streamlines the process for food service establishments (FSEs) to apply, renew, and pay for grease interceptor permits online. Service providers (haulers) can complete the Waste Cooking Oil (WCO) Collection Application and submit permit payments through the same online platform. The implementation improves compliance with the City’s Water Reclamation regulations.

Beginning December 2, 2025, all FSEs and approved service providers within the City of Savannah’s jurisdiction should begin to use ClearForms to manage permits online. There will be a 30-day transition period to allow users to become familiar with the online process. Beginning January 2, 2026, all FOG interceptor permit applications, renewals, payments and WCO Collection applications will be required to be submitted through the online portal.

Benefits of the Online System

ClearForms provides a faster, more efficient permitting process. Online submission ensures accurate records, reduces paperwork, and supports compliance with regulatory requirements.
