The City of Savannah's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) offers grants of up to $15,000 to qualified neighborhood associations to coordinate and manage a youth-powered Neighborhood Improvement Team.
This program is funded by ONSE as part of the City's youth violence reduction initiative. This program aims to ensure youth ages 14 to 18 years of age have an employment option that keeps them engaged in positive activities, provides them with basic income, and exposes the youth to the types of information and skills they need to make better decisions for themselves and their futures.
