Mission

The Office of Public Communications educates, informs, engages and inspires our community to help them better understand and participate in their City Government. We have an open, accessible and transparent approach to the sharing of information, with the belief that the more information is available to our citizens, the better informed and involved they will be.

Programs & Services

• Facilitates City-wide media relations, events, marketing and communications
• Produces Savannah Government Television, 24/7 government access channel
• Manages the City’s website and social media initiatives
