Pharmacy
VytlOne is the City of Savannah pharmacy drug provider; prescriptions may be filled at most retail pharmacies (Kroger, Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc.) or by mail order. The formulary medication list offers a wide selection of clinically-sound, cost-effective generic and brand-name prescription drugs. The co-pay at in-network pharmacies is determined by the tier on which the prescription is placed (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 / specialty drugs.)

FAQs
Why Does Prescription Require a Pre-Authorization?
Prescriptions for certain medications require a prior authorization, also known as a coverage review, to ensure the drug is safe, clinically appropriate and cost effective for member's condition. The review uses both formulary and clinical guidelines to determine if the plan will pay for certain medicines. If prescription requires a prior authorization, the provider must submit a request for coverage review for approval.
Can Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Pay for Prescriptions?
FSA funds may be used for prescriptions, as well as over-the-counter medicines with a prescriber's prescription or letter of medical necessity. Reimbursements for insulin are allowed without a prescription. FSAs may also be used to cover costs of medical equipment such as crutches, bandages, and diagnostic devices including blood testing devices. For the list of eligible expenses view BRi's Eligible Expense Reference List.
VytlOne Copay Solutions
VytlOne helps to enroll members in copay assistance programs that may be available for eligible specialty medications filled through VytlOne Pharmacy. Our pharmacy staff proactively contacts members that are receiving eligible medications where manufacturer coupon programs may be available and will help them to enroll with their consent. Members do not need to contact VytlOne regarding the program.
Dynamic Discounts
Dynamic Discounts, powered by Sempre Health, improves medication adherence by rewarding members with lower copays when they exhibit good behaviors, like filling chronic disease prescriptions consistently and on time. This program can be used wherever members choose to fill their scripts. Eligible therapy classes include diabetes, asthma/COPD, and anticoagulants/blood thinners. If a member qualifies for the program, they’ll receive a welcome letter from Sempre Health with instructions on how to enroll. Members do not need to contact VytlOne regarding the program.
