Goebel Avenue Fire Displaces Two
SAVANNAH, GA (Friday, February 12, 2021) – At 2:47 p.m., Friday, February 12, the Savannah Fire Department responded to a fire in the 400 Block of Goebel Avenue. Firefighters forced entry to the home, which was unoccupied at the time, and quickly extinguished the fire. Their fast action prevented the flames from spreading beyond the room where the fire originated. The fire damaged the room and its contents and caused smoke damage throughout the house. Power to the structure was cut and two people were displaced.
