City hosting Canal District community input meeting
SAVANNAH, GA (Oct. 2, 2019) — The City of Savannah invites community members to participate in a public meeting focused on water and connectivity in the Canal District on Thursday, Oct. 10, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center on Fahm Street. Free parking is available at the Savannah Visitor Center.
This meeting continues the public workshop series for the Canal District Master Plan. Community members are encouraged to learn about and discuss water (including floodplains, wetlands, and stormwater management) and connections (including streets, paths, and trails). These conversations will help shape the future and vision for the overall Canal District.
