West Henry Street Fire Displaces Four
SAVANNAH, GA (Friday, February 26, 2021) – An electrical fire at a home in the 200 Block of West Henry Street displaced four people. At 5:53 a.m., Friday, February 26, the Savannah Fire Department was dispatched to a fire in the 200 Block of West Henry Street. Rescue 1 was first on scene. Firefighters discovered a fire in the living room of a residential structure. The fire appeared to have started in an outlet where a television was plugged in. Fast acting firefighters prevented the blaze from extending beyond the living room, but the entire house sustained heavy smoke damage. No one was physically injured.
