TRAFFIC ALERT:
Intersection of Mildred St., Godsells St., Garey Ave. Closed to Traffic
SAVANNAH – City of Savannah crews have closed the intersection of Mildred Street, Godsells Street, and Garey Avenue, at the southern entrance to the Tatemville neighborhood, to through traffic due to a water line break.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes and avoid the area as repairs commence. Currently, vehicle access to the Tatemville Neighborhood is only via Staley Ave. Water service to structures in the nearby vicinity may be impacted by the water line break.
City staff is currently assessing the situation and will provide an update to the public when available.
