City of Savannah Youth Baseball provides young athletes with a fun, structured, and supportive environment to learn and play the game of baseball. 

Designed for players of all skill levels, the program focuses on fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth both on and off the field. Through age-appropriate instruction, organized practices, and league play, participants build confidence, develop athletic skills, and form lasting friendships while representing their community with pride. The City of Savannah is committed to creating positive recreational experiences that promote healthy lifestyles and lifelong enjoyment of the game.

Registration is open seasonally. Ages, locations, and schedules vary.

2026 Youth Baseball Calendar:

February 5 - Organizational Meeting for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, & 14U.    |   Location: Alee Temple at 6:30pm

February 9 - Begin submitting COMPLETE paperwork packets & entry fees.
*Packets that are incomplete and without fees will not be accepted.

February 19 - Coach certification (head coaches ONLY) for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, & 14U.   |  Location: Alee Temple at 6:00pm

February 23 - Official first day of practice – reserved field/time after ALL team paperwork has been submitted and entry fee is paid.

March 13 - FINAL DAY TO SUBMIT ALL TEAM PAPERWORK & PAY ENTRY FEE.

March 23 - Season begins

April 6 - Last day to add or drop players from rosters.

May 7 - Season ends

May 11-14 - City Championships

June 11-15 - GRPA District 2 Tournament

June 23-27 - GRPA State Tournament

The season will have 8 to 10 games.

$100/ per team
$125/out of city teams/ non-residents.
