2. Welcome

   Please join the City of Savannah’s Department of Community Planning and Development for the Neighborhood Leadership Institute session: Emergency Preparedness for Residents and Community Organizations.

   
   

   City, County, and State emergency management officials will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate practical tips, tools, and strategies for residents and community organizations to best prepare for all manner of emergencies and extreme weather events. The session will be facilitated by Dr. Emmanuel Nojang, professor of Homeland Security and Emergency Management at Savannah State University.

   
   

   Arrive on time for the Information Fair and complimentary breakfast. Information Fair participants include: Chatham Emergency Management Agency, Savannah Fire and Emergency Services, Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department, City of Savannah’s Housing Department, American Red Cross of Southeast Georgia, America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, and more!
