Angelica Alfonso is a Human Resource Analyst specializing in Benefits Administration for the City of Savannah. Angelica provides employees guidance and assistance with making the best benefits decisions for themselves and their families. Angelica strives to ensure employees have access to and takes full advantage of all the rich benefits the City offers.
Before devoting her fulltime work to the City of Savannah’s Office of Human Resources, Angelica served as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Budget Director for the City’s Office of Management and Budget, where she provided exceptional customer service and assistance to internal and external customers. Her Budget colleagues often referred to her as ‘the glue” that kept the department together and on track. Prior to committing herself to public service, Angelica worked several years in the Healthcare field as a Department Secretary for the Medical Surgical department at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital.
Angelica holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an undergraduate’s degree in Medical
Billing and Coding.
