A public meeting to discuss changes to the sidewalk cafe policy will be held February 5th in the O'Connor Room of the Savannah Civic Center from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

Sidewalk Cafes are currently permitted temporary use of the public right-of-ways to encourage downtown business vibrancy and the urban aesthetics. Increasingly, the sidewalk cafe program has grown, and the City of Savannah would like to invite all sidewalk cafe' owners to participate in the policy modification process to establish a more sustainable program.
