[ARCHIVED] Registration now open for Youth Conversation with Ambassador Andrew Young

Date: January 24, 2014

Mayor Edna Jackson and City Council with Savannah Youth Council and Chatham County Youth Commission invite local youth to a Youth Conversation with Ambassador Andrew Young on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 8 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the Temple of Glory Eden Room located at 1105 Stiles Avenue. Preregistration is required. Please register online by Friday, Jan. 31 at www.savannahga.gov/andrewyoung.

Local youth between the ages of 11-20 are invited to attend. Breakfast will be provided to only youth participants.

Andrew Young is an American politician, diplomat, activist and pastor from Georgia. He has served as the Mayor of Atlanta, a Congressman from Georgia's 5th congressional district, and the first African-American to serve as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
