 Retreat Scheduled For 2024 Proposed Budget

 

SAVANNAH (Nov. 9, 2023) – The City of Savannah will host a budget retreat on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the ballroom of the Savannah Civic Center at 301 W. Oglethorpe Avenue. 

Following the retreat, two public hearings will take place during regularly scheduled City Council meetings. 

Members of the public are welcome to observe the meeting in person and online via the City’s website, Facebook and YouTube pages, and SGTV Comcast Channel 8. 

The public can view the 2024 proposed budget online at savannahga.gov/budget or at the following locations and times: 

  • Clerk of Council Office
    1. Savannah City Hall, 2 E. Bay St., first floor
      • Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Live Oak Public Libraries
    1. Carnegie Library, 537 E. Henry St.
      • Monday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
    2. Southwest Chatham Library, 14097 Abercorn St.
      • Monday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The public can submit questions on the proposed budget by email via budgetqa@savannahga.gov.
