Savannah Fire Department invites kids to visit fire stations on Halloween
SAVANNAH (Oct. 24, 2023) – The Savannah Fire Department (SFD) is excited to announce that all stations across the city will be open for kids to pick up candy on Halloween.
Opening our doors is a part of the department’s ongoing efforts to engage with the community and promote fire safety. By opening our doors to trick-or-treaters, SFD hopes to provide a fun and safe environment for kids to celebrate Halloween.
SFD asks the public to follow the Savannah Police Department’s (SPD) safety guidelines while trick-or-treating and visit your nearest fire station between the hours of 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. You can find the full list of safety guidelines at savannahpd.org.
