City To Host Water Resources Career Fair

SAVANNAH (Sept. 13, 2023) – The City of Savannah will hold a career fair for the Water Resources Department on Sept. 27 at the Savannah Civic Center from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Water Resources Department is currently seeking to fill vacancies across seven different departments. This event presents the opportunity for prospective candidates to network with department leaders and explore potential career avenues with the City of Savannah.

The Water Resources Department promotes public health and safety through thoughtful management of water resources and greenspaces. The department plans and promotes for the efficient use of drinking water and ensures the water used is treated properly before it flows back out into the environment to be used again.

They also work on stormwater pipes and canals to protect the community from flooding and monitor the water quality in our creeks and rivers.

Career fair attendees will be able to apply to positions at the event and the department will be conducting on-the-spot interviews.
