City to host Grant Center Gymnasium Ribbon Cutting

SAVANNAH (May 8) – The City of Savannah will host a ribbon cutting for the new Grant Center Gymnasium at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, at the corner of West Street and Barnes Drive. The project included the construction of a 10,380-square-foot gym and additional off-street parking.

The new gymnasium replaced the existing Grant Center Gymnasium and is the only City-owned regulation-size gymnasium on the west side of Savannah. The building includes a gymnasium, locker rooms, public restrooms, an entrance lobby, a snack bar and an office. The project included site work, utilities and landscaping.
