Small business opportunities available for St. Patrick’s Day festivities

SAVANNAH (March 2) -- The City of Savannah has opportunities available for small businesses to participate in St. Patrick’s Day festivities, with deadlines approaching.

Street Vendor Permits are available for individuals who wish to sell goods on the public right-of-way. Program details and the application are available at savannahga.gov/stpatsvendor. The deadline to apply for a permit is March 15.

In addition, all City of Savannah approved food trucks will have the opportunity to operate during St. Patrick’s Day on:

  • Pre-Approved Private Locations – The pre-approved locations list can be found at savannahga.gov/stpatsvendor. Please note that pre-approved locations still require review for site layout to ensure your MFSU has enough space to operate safely, distance from hazards, etc.
  • Another Proposed Location – Several vendors have contacted the Office of Special Events, Film and Tourism about operating on a specific lot or on the public right-of-way during the event. As opposed to dictating where you can locate, we are open to suggestions from you.

Regardless of which location is chosen, food truck vendors must complete the St. Pats Food Truck Form.  This form is due no later than Monday, March 6, 2023.

For more information on all types of vendor permits, visit savannahga.gov/stpatsvendor.
