City to unveil final phase of Waters Avenue Streetscape project
SAVANNAH (Jan. 31) – The City of Savannah will formally unveil Phase III of the Waters Avenue Streetscape project tomorrow, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m. at the intersection of East 41st Street and Waters Avenue in Savannah.
The full streetscape project took place over a 6-year period and has been predominantly funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, or SPLOST. The three phases stretch from Wheaton Street on the north to Victory Drive on the south.
