The City of Savannah is beginning discussions on creating a community benefits agreement initiative for the community and has launched a new website for residents to follow the process.

The new website allows residents to gather meeting information, take surveys and follow other updates and activities associated with this initiative. Visit savannahga.gov/communitybenefits, and if you have any questions or comments, please email planning@savannahga.gov.

A community benefits agreement is a contract negotiated between a prospective developer and community representatives outlining the benefits a real estate investor will provide the surrounding area in exchange for support of a proposed project.
