Call for Artists for “Art on Waters”

SAVANNAH, GA (October 4, 2019) — The City of Savannah’s Office of Business Opportunity and Cultural Resources Department are requesting proposals from artists and/or artist teams to commission artworks to contribute to the revitalization of Waters Avenue. It’s a complementary component to the new sidewalks, street trees and pedestrian lighting to this east side corridor.

Arts on Waters aims to build on Savannah’s artistic energy and to attract residents of all backgrounds to celebrate the surrounding communities. All proposals should be representative of the local community and inspire, engage and celebrate surrounding neighborhoods and its residents.

ALL PROPOSALS MUST COME FROM CITIZENS BASED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAVANNAH LIMITS.
