The City of Savannah has engaged the Urban Land Institute (ULI) to study the Savannah Civic Center location and surrounding area to determine the highest and best use of the area while respecting the elements of Savannah’s National Landmark Historic District and the Oglethorpe Plan, reconnecting neighborhoods, and determining compatible, mixed-use redevelopment opportunities. The ULI’s Technical Assistance Panel of experts will consider the future possibilities for the Civic Center site.
The City is conducting this survey to obtain your input for “What is most important to you.”
The information compiled from the responses will offer a better understanding of our community’s perspective of the Civic Center site and assist in creating the best redevelopment strategy for this area.

We invite you to attend The Urban Land Institutes Technical Assistant Panel’s preliminary report presentation at a Special Council Workshop on
Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Civic Center’s Ballroom.
