City Holding Arena Construction Fair
SAVANNAH, GA (July 20, 2018) — The City of Savannah is encouraging disadvantaged businesses to RSVP for the Arena Construction Fair, a free event aimed at connecting subcontractors with the firms bidding on the Arena project.
The Arena Construction Fair will be held at the Civic Center on August 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Potential subcontractors will have the opportunity to network with contractors bidding on the 
project and connect with organizations offering free business services. Participants will be given an overview of the project and the various subcontracting opportunities available to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and local firms.
Service providers in attendance will include: the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to answer DBE certification questions, the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) providing small business loans, and the City of Savannah Office of Business Opportunity.
