The City of Savannah and businesses across the community have joined forces to match 500 students with 500 paid internships this summer. 

The Summer 500 Youth Employment Program (S500) provides Savannah youth 16+ years of age with paid summer employment for up to eight weeks. Participants work in entry-level jobs in a variety of industries including:

• Arts and Recreation 
• Educational Services 
• Financial Services
• Healthcare/Medical    
• Hospitality/Tourism    
• Information Technology
• Manufacturing    
• Marketing/Public Relations
• Media/Entertainment
• Real Estate/Property
