Information session for the Small Business Recovery Program
The City of Savannah’s Small Business Recovery Program (SBRP) provides limited financial assistance in the form of grants to small businesses directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible businesses may be awarded up to $10,000 in federal grant proceeds made available by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Today the City of Savannah and Savannah Technical College announced a new partnerhsip aimed at addressing economic equity. The City is providing funding for up to one hundred scholarships - $135 each - for city residents to complete forklift operator safety training through Savannah Tech.

City of Savannah selected to participate in a National League of Cities’ project
Mayor Van R. Johnson, II is proud to join a new initiative led by the National League of Cities (NLC) and commit to increasing economic inclusion and resilience for communities of color. Savannah joins fifteen other cities in the Southeast U.S. to receive up to $30,000 in grant funding and opportunities to learn from national experts and other cities. The Southern Cities Economic Inclusion initiative is a partnership between NLC and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
