Fitness Reimbursement

The City of Savannah offers fitness facility membership fee reimbursement to any full-time, active employee. This program is designed to encourage physical activity and consistency. Employees will be reimbursed up to $15.00 before taxes per month given they meet eligibility requirements. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Full-time, active City of Savannah employee
  • Members of a fitness facility and attend a minimum of 8 times per month
  • Provide proof of payments made to your fitness facility for the 6-month reimbursement period
  • Submit monthly report of attendance, on your gym’s letterhead or signed by a fitness manager
  • Complete the Fitness Reimbursement Form and submit by due date (January 31st and July 31st)

*Reimbursements will be distributed on a 6-month period. Reimbursement is at the discretion of the HR Benefits Division and limited to one fitness facility per employee. Failure to submit all legible documents on time will result in a denial of your request.
