Savannah Airport Commission

Description:
The Savannah Airport Commission was established in 1949 by General Assembly of the State of Georgia as an operating agency of the City to administer and operate municipally owned airports for the City of Savannah. It administers the improvements, maintenance, and operation of municipally owned airports, etc.

Membership/Appointment:
Five (5) members appointed by City Council.

Min. Requirements:
Chatham County resident

Term:
Overlapping five-year (5) terms. Members are eligible for reappointment.
