Properties For Sale
Thank you for your interest in properties held by the Land Bank Authority. Our mission is to acquire underutilized properties and put them back into a productive use status in a timely manner. The Land Bank Authority will consider the highest and best use of property and how the redevelopment will affect the surrounding neighborhood and future redevelopment plans for the neighborhood.
All properties acquired from the Land Bank for the redevelopment of residential housing shall comply with the Land Bank's Affordability Guidelines and Restrictions. Land Bank Authority Process for Acquiring Property
Requests for property may be made either by submitting a pre-application for a property or by responding to a published Request for Proposals (RFP) that may be advertised at times for specific properties. Application proposals are considered on a rolling basis.
Please contact the Land Bank Authority before submitting an application to make sure a property is still available, and to review the Minimum Development Requirements listed on page five (5) of the application and the Affordability Requirements. Additional items may be requested in addition to those identified on the application under Minimum Development Requirements.
Once an application is submitted, it will be reviewed by staff and, if complete and accepted, a recommendation will be made to the Board of Directors for the Sale and Conveyance of property in accordance with the proposal submitted.
- All proposals must be submitted 30 days prior to the scheduled board meeting. A thorough review of the application and submission requirements will be conducted. Submission of an application does not guarantee that a proposal will be placed on the next board agenda meeting.
- Incomplete Applications will not be considered.
- All sales are subject to the approval of the Land Bank Authority Board of Directors.
- The Authority may decline any offer and application for property for any reason.
