 Times: 9:00am - 4:30pm
 Fees: $165 (City residents) / $185 (non-City residents) 

Dates: June 10-14 (Visual Arts week) (FULL)
            July 8-12  (Performing Arts week) (FULL) 
            July 8-12 (Half-day Clay Camp) (FULL)
            July 15-19 (Visual Arts week) (FULL)

*FULL* Our half-day clay camp, for ages 11-15, will teach your teen about all things ceramics as they practice wheel throwing and sculpture, learn handbuilding techniques and experiment with various surface designs. Click here to download the application form and come clay with us! 

How to register for Summer Camp

2. Print and fill out the form
3. Email the form to, mail it to us at 201 Montgomery Street, Savannah, GA 31401, or come in and register at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center! 

Registration should be made as soon as possible; class size is limited and spaces are filled on a first-come, first served basis. Camp Registration closes at 2pm the Friday before the next week of camp - if there is still availability. Please call 912-651-6783 to confirm. If the session is full you will be notified as soon as possible.

Financial Assistance

The City of Savannah provides affordable, convenient, access to quality programs and opportunities that enrich the quality of life of residents. Summer Art Camp programs are available to the entire community and we strive to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate. The financial assistance program is based on the guidelines set forth by the Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education for the free or reduced lunch program.

Application Deadline: 2pm the Friday before the next week of camp - if there is still availability. 

Application Requirements:
Proof that the child is eligible for free or reduced lunch.

Full payment is due upon enrollment. Cash, checks and credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted. Registration forms received without payment will not be processed.

Cultural Resources is located at 201 Montgomery Street, directly across from the Civic Center. 

Procedures and Policies

The Department of Cultural Resources reserves the right to cancel, to combine or reschedule classes, or to change class instructors, when necessary.

The Department of Cultural Resources will not provide make-up classes or issue refunds to those who miss classes due to illness or other events beyond our control.

The Department of Cultural Resources reserves the right to refuse enrollment to participants with a history of unacceptable behavior.

Cancellations and Refunds

If the Department of Cultural Resources cancels a class for any reason, all registered participants will be informed as soon as possible and extended the opportunity to transfer to another class. If participants do not wish to transfer to another class, a full refund will be processed. 

There is a $25 withdrawal and/or transfer fee. Notice of withdrawal or transfer must be made in WRITING to Cultural Resources, and it must be received by noon the Friday before the first day of class. No refunds will be made for withdrawals after that time. Failure to attend sessions or verbal notification will NOT be regarded as an official notice of withdrawal.
