Purchasing Department Mission
City HallOur mission is to maintain a procurement system of the highest integrity which maximizes the value of tax dollars spent by the City.

We recognize the important service provided by our suppliers in achieving our goals. To assist suppliers in that process, this web site has been developed to provide all potential suppliers with information regarding the City’s procurement activities. Highlights of this site include the ability to register on-line, receive notifications of bids via E-mail or fax, download bid specifications, check for addenda, submit bids electronically and view bid results.

The Warehouse Division
The Purchasing Department’s Warehouse Division provides administrative control of receiving, stocking, and disbursing commodities to all City departments.

The Purchasing Department values the goods and services provided by its suppliers. To assist suppliers in the purchasing process, this website has been developed. The Minority / Women Business Enterprise
The Minority / Women Business Enterprise program strives to provide the maximum services to increase the number of M / WBE’s in Savannah, to assist them with growing and sustaining successful businesses, and to increase their participation in the City of Savannah’s purchasing process.
